Select: "Yes, save these settings for this program" You can start the program if you like to test things but would only be worth it if you have something in the PDFCreator print queue (which if you have encountered this error you will), or have a file you can add for printing. Select: "Run programs made for previous versions of Windows"įind PDFCreator in the list that appears. Select: "Programs and Features" (located at the top) It complains about an "invalid image" - this happens even even for plain text files - and crashes if you chose to execute the next command or skip procedure, the fix for me was to do the following: I had a problem when using PDFCreator with Windows 7 also. But, it errors out when staring the service and I still have to log in and start the application. It does appear in the service list and i can configure to use the appropriate log on credentials. I successfully installed it using ANYSERVICEINSTALLER with the Windows Resource toolkit. I'm also having trouble installing the PDF Creator as a service.
